We are looking for a talented Key Account Director who will be working closely with our client, Zefr.
PURPOSE
A Regional Key Account Director is a commercially oriented hybrid role spanning the reactive needs of key customers to ensure seamless activation, and the proactive needs of Zefr to grow and deepen relationships at all touch points of accounts. You will be responsible, and accountable, for the development, direction and delivery of Zefr's key customer's growth strategies. This is a hands-on contributor role, requiring knowledge of the walled garden ecosystem, client strategies and ideally first-hand experience working with one or more of the walled garden management platforms and dealing with brand custodians directly.
The primary function of Key Account Management is customer delight: you will handle all aspects of the day-to-day relationship with Zefr's existing key customer-base from brief response to deep functional understanding of the account and people attached to it. You will be instrumental in developing the account to identify growth opportunity by product, market or platform. Outstanding customer management skills are fundamental, as are established contacts in the agency/brand world. The secondary function of the role is leveraging goodwill and exceptional reputation created within agency groups to source net-new client opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Direction
· Developing and overseeing all agency strategies across the APAC business markets
· Strategic overview, and timely pro-active reporting against status, to reporting manager of all accounts, the industry, the territory and Senior customer personnel
· Expanding existing sales opportunities
· In-depth understanding and real time financial status of all accounts
Customer Management
· Lead the contribution and consultation of customers's walled garden strategies and thinking
· Strengthen customer relationships through inspirational, visionary and proactive account management
· Manage quarterly/monthly reviews with agencies/brands to ensure customer satisfaction and deliver product updates and recommendations
· Monitor external environment and highlight key issues to provide customers with strategic insight
· Be seen as an expert and consultant to the customers
· Point of escalation for all customer issues
· Accountable for quarterly overview for the customers
· Accountable for quarterly feedback from the customers
OUTPUTS AND MEASURES
· Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets
· Accuracy of forecasting
· Customer % retention rates yr-yr
· Quantum of net-new opportunity created through reputational goodwill
· % customers active from each key accounts
· Weekly activity and progress reporting
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in either a client-facing media agency role, or a digital services vendor in a Senior Sales or Senior Account Management role
2. Proven ability to manage complex and matrixed internal and customer stakeholder relationships
3. Strong working knowledge of walled garden ecosystem advertising products and technologies
4. Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
5. Excellent analytical skills
6. Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, along with confident and persuasive presentations skills
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to QA own work
