Regional Key Account Manager

The Regional Key Account Manager acts as the company's key representative, engaging with clients to build strong partnerships, enhance customer retention, and drive business growth. This role demands a strategic approach to account management, business development, and customer relationship management across South-East Asia and Oceania.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts, including sourcing, operations, supply chain, and project stakeholders at the regional level.
- Analyze customer supply chain needs to identify opportunities for the company's services (air, sea, third-party logistics, etc.).
- Collaborate with Regional/Country Sales & Marketing Heads and Executive Sponsors to develop and implement strategies for business continuity and expansion.
- Engage with key decision-makers and influencers to strengthen regional partnerships.
- Manage multiple Global Key Accounts, ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Achieve and surpass budget targets, including net sales and volume goals.
- Lead and coordinate in-country Key Account Teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive customer profiles, including air and sea trade lane target volumes.
- Ensure all account activities and insights are regularly updated in the CRM system.
- Work with the Global Account Manager to manage contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).
- Organize and oversee key client engagements, including meetings, RFQs, and business implementations (SOPs, training, projects, and reports).
- Partner with in-country Key Account Managers (KAMs) to create tailored solutions that optimize cost, quality, and value-added services based on customer needs.
- Address and resolve service failures, claims, KPI issues, and accounts receivable (AR) concerns efficiently.
- Support profit & loss (P&L) optimization by providing relevant financial insights to the account management team.
- Drive innovation and strategic solutions, fostering a collaborative, partner-focused approach with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in account management, including at least 5 years in regional account management.
- Industry Expertise: Strong background in logistics or supply chain management.
