Roles & Responsibilities

The Modern Trade Key Account Executive/Manager will be responsible for managing and growing sales in modern trade and convenient channels for the toys category. This role involves developing strong relationships with key modern trade retailers, driving sales performance, and executing promotional strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with key modern trade accounts such as large retail chains, hypermarkets, and supermarkets.

· Sales Growth: Drive sales performance to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets in assigned accounts.

· Negotiation: Lead negotiations for annual contracts, pricing, promotions, and product placements.

· Promotions & Merchandising: Develop and execute promotional plans, in-store activations, and merchandising strategies to increase product visibility.

· Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.

· Inventory Management: Ensure optimal stock availability and timely replenishment at store levels.

· Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

· Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for management.

· 2–3 years of experience in key account management or modern trade sales, preferably in the toys, FMCG, or consumer goods industry.

· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large retail accounts.

· Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

· Willingness to travel as required.
