Our client: Our client invites you to join forces in shaping the future of technology alongside them. With over 40 years of experience as a leader in high-precision positioning and piezo technology, they are establishing a new Technology and Innovation Centre in Singapore to drive forward research and development in precision motion control.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical knowledge in Motion & Control, System Integration, and Automation machine fields, and a drive to learn and adapt to new technologies and market trends.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and enhance the company's presence, focusing primarily on Singapore, and including possible travel to other territories such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
  • Conduct regular onsite visits to customers for product presentations, updates on new products and technologies, and discussions about ongoing and future projects.
  • Collaborate closely with distributors/partners.
  • Engage decision makers of projects, understand customer requirements and competitors, and develop sales and marketing action plans.
  • Work with customers and technical teams in Singapore, Germany, China, Japan, and the USA to propose solutions.
  • Monitor customer projects, sales situations, and market demands to generate weekly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Organize and participate in trade shows and road shows.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar Field Sales Engineer role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge in Motion & Control, System Integration, and/or Automation machine fields (e.g., linear translation stage, linear motor, drivers, motion controllers, gantry system).
  • Ability to engage with new customers and develop collaborations.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, customer applications, and markets.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to adjacent markets (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam) and international sites (Germany, China, USA) for training purposes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
