Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers and clients.
  • Ensure billing processes are in alignment with company policies, client agreements, and established payment terms.
  • Review client accounts and billing histories for accuracy and completeness.
  • Promptly address and correct any billing discrepancies or errors.
  • Enter billing data into the company's accounting or billing system.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, invoices, and payment histories.
  • Ensure client and payment information is kept current in the system.
  • Monitor and track client payments, ensuring timely collection.
  • Follow up on overdue payments, reaching out to clients via phone, email, or mail.
  • Apply payments accurately to respective accounts and resolve any payment-related issues.
  • Address and resolve client billing questions or disputes.
  • Provide assistance to clients regarding billing and payment issues.
  • Support clients in setting up payment plans or addressing concerns related to their invoices.
  • Prepare and generate regular reports on billing and payment statuses for management.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of accounts receivable balances.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support the preparation of financial reports.
  • Ensure billing procedures are compliant with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting details.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of billing software and financial tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving skills to address billing errors and disputes.
