Head of Phlebotomy

Job Summary

The Head of Phlebotomy will oversee the daily operations of the Phlebotomy department, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will lead a team of phlebotomists, develop policies and procedures, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and supervise the Phlebotomy team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

· Develop, implement, and review policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.

· Monitor and improve patient satisfaction, quality, and safety metrics.

· Maintain accurate records, reports, and statistics as required.

Requirements

· Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Nursing.

· Certification in Phlebotomy

· Proven experience in Phlebotomy, preferably in a supervisory or management role.

· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

Work Week

· Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 5.00 pm

· Saturday: 8.30 am to 1.00 pm
