Job Responsibilities:
  • Listen to and interpret audio recordings, including conversations, podcasts, and verbal notes
  • Convert spoken words into written text with high accuracy
  • Follow client-specific editorial and formatting guidelines
  • Use digital tools and transcription software to enhance productivity
  • Review and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors
  • Add timestamps or subtitles to audio/video content when required
  • Manage background noise in audio files to ensure accurate transcriptions
  • Meet strict deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • To sign off on an affidavit attesting that the transcription and translation is done by you.
  • To attend Court as witness if called upon (Remuneration provided).
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required;
  • Proven experience as a Transcriber or in a similar role
  • Excellent listening and interpretation skills
  • Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong command of Languages (English/Chinese/any other language set)
