About our client

Our client is a leading bulk liquid storage terminal operator.

They are looking for an individual to join them in their growing team, here is your chance to be part of an exciting team geared towards both company and personal success.

Operator I

Overview:

  • This position reports to the Shift Leader.
  • Generous shift allowance and fringe benefits.
  • Workplace at Jurong Island.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all Terminal operations including Control Room, Jetty, Manifold, Tank farm and Utility operations, Operations Technicians performing duty of loading and discharging product at the jetty is also called a Loading Master;
  • Follow Operational Procedures and Work Instructions to ensure that quality standards are maintained;
  • Carry out operations in a safe manner in accordance with HSE standards and procedures;
  • Routine operational checks to ensure safe running of Terminal;
  • Oversee Contract labour for mooring, line connection/disconnection, tank cleaning and manifold elbow assembling/disassembling operations;
  • Carry out tank and line preparation as directed by Team Leader;
  • Dipping and sampling of tanks;
  • Maintain housekeeping to ensure the Terminal is clean and tidy at all times;
  • Assist with training of new personnel;
  • Assuming the role and responsibilities of a member of the Terminal Emergency Response Team;
  • Perform any other roles and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • A Certificate / High School Diploma with good mechanical aptitude – Numeric ability and at least 1 year experience in oil/chemical terminal operations;
  • Knowledge of Safety procedures and good all-round knowledge of Oil Terminal Operations.
