Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

  • As an Assistant Manager, the person will be responsible for efficient and accurate handling of revenue, invoicing, collections and receivable accounting with complete control over reporting of financial and non-financial metrics within the SOX compliance framework.
  • Responsible for timely closure of books for the month end with a comprehensive approach for accuracy & completeness of the financials.
  • Ensuring accuracy of numbers concerning accounting and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the function to enhance efficiency and accuracy using RPA and other tech enablers.
  • Should be able to work with a large volume of data and in an evolving environment.

Job Requirements:

  • 3 to 4 years of post-qualification work experience.
  • Hands-on experience in a controllership role (GL / Account receivable / Consolidation / Statutory audit).
  • Good to have experience in Power BI, Oracle, SQL, Qlikview, Alteryx etc.
  • The knowledge of applicable taxes & GST compliances on revenue & receivable.
  • Deep understanding of accounting, finance, and business.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects at a time.
  • Exceptional communicator and Lucid thinker.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Education: CA Intermediate, Cost Accountant, Post Graduate in Finance.
