- Prepare, review, and negotiate various legal documents, correspondences with external parties, SOPs and policies.
- Guide the various departments and business units to implement and/or draft SOPs and policies.
- Handle litigation/legal cases by liaising with internal stakeholders and external lawyers engaged by the company.
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments and business units on matters related to contracts, regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Conduct legal research to ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Advise management on the implications of new laws and regulations and recommend necessary actions.
- Evaluate compliance to rules, regulations, SOPs and policies.
- Maintain and update database of existing and new agreements, SOPs and policies.
- Liaise with Corporate Secretary for corporate governance matters.
- Assist in all analysis and reporting required by the company and/or the parent company.
- Improve the company’s internal control compliance management and legal risk control system design, establishment and maintenance work.
- General administration, reporting and filing tasks.
Requirements:
- Preferably Law / Property Management / Business graduate
- Experience in contract review management or work as an in-house legal counsel
- Proactive, strives for continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently, with integrity and responsibility
- Multi-task and excellent organization skills, ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
