DeltaV PROPOSAL Lead Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: Engineering graduates from Electronics/Instrumentation
  • Experience: 8-12 years
  • Must Know: DeltaV™ Process Control System (or PCS) and Safety Instrumented System (or SIS) Specifications for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and/or Chemical industry

Responsibilities:

  • Support Proposal Manager for all incoming Quote requests; coordinate multiple Proposals as required
  • Independently handle and deliver DeltaV™ Proposals

· Ability to identify clear decisions or recommendations that may emerge from meetings and discussions

  • Coordination with EMR Stakeholders to understand Proposal scope, schedule of Proposal delivery, clarifications, meetings and ensuring an optimum solution
  • Ensuring the compliance to the Proposal quality standards
  • Preparing Proposal documentation & records
  • Interacting/coordinating with cross functional teams of other global office to ensure consistency in Proposal deliverables
  • Responsible for RFQ study to determine Customer requirements, design optimized system architecture including third party interfaces, compliance table, I/O summary, coordinate cabinet drawings as required, bill of material, buy-outs evaluation, cabinet power and heat load calculations, Controller loading calculations, Cost and Engineering estimates
  • Responsible for necessary project coordination with Customers, Engineering Contractors and/or Consultants
  • Ensuring Proposal milestones and deadline
