Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing comprehensive support in both Human Resources and Finance functions, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and effective management of financial and employee-related matters.

Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Assist with the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
    • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Handle employee queries and grievances, providing guidance and support.
    • Assist with performance management processes, including appraisals and development plans.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • HR Administration:
    • Process leave applications and manage attendance records.
    • Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Prepare and maintain HR reports and documentation.
  • Compliance:
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations in Singapore.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Finance:

  • Accounting & Financial Reporting:
    • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
    • Process invoices and payments accurately and timely.
    • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
    • Support financial forecasting and analysis.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
    • Assist with tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
  • Other Duties:
    • Support other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in HR and/or Finance roles is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
    • Proficiency in accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with relevant Singapore employment laws and regulations.
    • Experience with HR and accounting software is a plus.
