Job Summary:
This role is responsible for providing comprehensive support in both Human Resources and Finance functions, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and effective management of financial and employee-related matters.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Employee Relations:
- Handle employee queries and grievances, providing guidance and support.
- Assist with performance management processes, including appraisals and development plans.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- HR Administration:
- Process leave applications and manage attendance records.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports and documentation.
- Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations in Singapore.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Finance:
- Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Process invoices and payments accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Support financial forecasting and analysis.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist with tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
- Other Duties:
- Support other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in HR and/or Finance roles is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with relevant Singapore employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with HR and accounting software is a plus.
