Get to know the Role:

This is an evolving role which will encompass operations and sales for our newly formed division that serves the Tourism and Retail segment.

Operations

  • Responsible for providing smooth, efficient, effective operational support for all project sites, including allocation/coordinate delivery of resources such as manpower and materials to fulfil scope and meet the needs of various projects.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current workflows, propose innovative solutions, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Supervise labour force as well as the company-operated dormitory to ensure discipline, and compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Ensuring that each member of the team is receiving the information they need to fulfil their responsibilities and that they do their part to maintain information so that it is current.

Project Management

  • Responsible for end-to-end project management including preparation, scheduling and progress, client management, project costing and control, closure.
  • Conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate activities with subcontractors in accordance with project schedules and contract requirements.
  • Ensure that projects are properly documented for financial, safety and quality reporting to management, and audits.
  • Monitor quality of construction to ensure compliance with building control regulations.
The Must-haves:
  • Diploma / BSc degree holder in Building Science, Engineering or related fields from a recognized university
  • Proficient knowledge in building and construction works with detailed knowledge for building processes
  • Min 5-8 years experience in built environment operations
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Fast learner and ability to adapt to division evolution
  • A dynamic, positive and forward-thinking personality with the ability to work under time pressure
