Position Summary :

This position is responsible for the purchasing activities by ordering supplies and raw materials to support the production center. He/She provides administrative support and maintaining inventory and purchase records throughout the purchasing process


Main Tasks & Responsibilities :

· Issues, track and update purchase orders based on production needs

· Make cost-effective purchases and maintain a fully stocked inventory

· Liaise with suppliers and warehouse to ensure timely delivery in good condition

· Dealing with queries in relation to invoice resolution with suppliers

· Accountable for the accuracy of purchasing parameters and maintenance of documents

· Continuous improvement to shorten the supply chains for sustainability

· Maintain a mutually beneficial supplier relationships

· Contribute to the team objective for assured supply and quality product


Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business or Supply Chain related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years related working experience
  • Able to work in a fast paced MNC environment
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Be team player with excellent communication skill
