Job Summary

Manage 2 categories direct material for the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all procurement related activities in Asia Pacific region.
  • Responsible for sourcing strategies of critical components & raw materials to support the manufacturing operations in Greater Asia.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, including negotiating contracts, managing supply chain risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost reduction projects.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track progress towards goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization across the organization.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as finance, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment of procurement strategy with overall business objectives.

Our Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in procurement, preferably within a medical device industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English language. Additional languages are beneficial but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
