An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated supply chain professional to assist the Head of Procurement APAC. The candidate should possess solid fundamental purchasing knowledge, have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.

The chosen candidate primary responsibility is to lead and perform procurement and logistics function in both direct and indirect purchases for China and Hong Kong office, support topics in Australia and Singapore

To deliver procurement and logistics tasks and objectives to meet the organization KPI are a key requirement in this role.

The successful candidate will join our Yunex Team and be based in our Singapore office at Raffles Place, reporting to Head of Procurement APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle end-to-end purchasing process including source, negotiate, evaluate and purchase orders of direct/indirect goods/services, raise Purchase Order for Hong Kong, China market, shared role in Australia with APAC manager, perform Yonyou ERP tools tasks in Hong Kong & China

Create and implement strategies for procuring goods and services needed by the company in APAC

2. Manage supplier registration, qualification and update of vendor master database for China and Hong Kong.

Maintain and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate purchase deals, and ensure supplier performance aligns with company standards.

3. Oversee the procurement budget and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices in the region

Perform price analysis and support development of benchmarking database in APAC.

Monthly procurement KPI reporting and target achievement for Hong Kong, China and Australia

4. Undertake ad-hoc assignment as required.

Cross-Functional & Cross Countries Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and key stake holders to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.

Qualification:

Education: A bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience: minimum 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably with experience in regional role or exposure working in similar environment is advantage.

Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills, self-driven. Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as SAP or equivalent

Certifications: Professional certifications like CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager), CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), or similar are added value

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of supply chain modeling and eProcurement tools.

- Ability to manage supplier risk and drive commercial improvements.

- Strong analytical and market research skills, develop price database for region

- Language Proficiency: English, Chinese, Cantonese (is a strong plus point).
