POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking for a people-oriented Human Resources Coordinator who is motivated by challenges and a fast-paced environment. Partnering the Human Resources team at The Singapore EDITION, the Human Resources Coordinator assists and supports the department in Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagements and Employee Development.


Success in the position demands a driving focus on building strong relationship skills, willingness to take on new projects, an eye for details and an enthusiasm for working independently but as part of a small, focused team.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Talent Acquisition

• Assists in establishing and maintaining contact with external recruitment sources.

• Participates in job fairs and ensures documentation of outreach efforts in accordance with Human Resources Standard Operating Procedures.

• Assists in identifying external talents and selection process.

• Take charge of the onboarding experience for all new employees.


Employee Engagements

• Updating and upkeeping of notice boards and digital boards.

• Plan and execute employee engagement activities.

• Creating Employee Engagement collaterals for employee activities.

• Drive Monthly Employee Recognition Program Event and prepare corresponding collaterals.


Employee Development

• Filing and e-filing of training records.

• Tracking of certifications and scheduling employees for certifications.

• Raise requisition for training programs, training room and materials.

• Preparation of training materials.


We are looking for someone who:

• Has good communication and people management skills

• Has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task

• Has attention to details

• Enjoys interacting with people

• Is highly creative

• Is proficient in Micrsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint Presentation

• Preferrably have a good understanding of or have experience working with the Singapore Employment Act, Ministry of Manpower Regulations, Skills Development framework etc.
