The Team

Our Consumer Product Team plays a pivotal role in delivering innovative, data-driven, and user-centric experiences that empower millions of users across Southeast Asia and beyond. Working in close partnership with Design, Engineering, Data, Marketing, Sales, and other business units, the Tribe is dedicated to creating delightful, intuitive products that shape the future of property technology. The Role
As the Director of Consumer Products, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of PropertyGuru’s consumer-facing marketplace product portfolio. You will guide a talented team of product managers and collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovation, user satisfaction, and business outcomes. Your leadership will inspire the organization to push boundaries, adopt emerging technologies such as AI, and deliver best-in-class experiences that revolutionize property search and discovery.
Key Areas of Ownership
- Product Performance: Drive measurable improvements in user engagement and overall product success.
- User Satisfaction: Champion user-centric design and data-driven decision-making, ensuring our products exceed customer expectations.
- Business Impact: Align product strategies with broader corporate objectives to create tangible results in market leadership and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Road mapping
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision aligned with PropertyGuru’s goals
- Anticipate market shifts and user trends to refine product roadmaps and ensure product-market fit
- Continuously evaluate opportunities for growth, leveraging insights from data and user feedback
Performance & Metrics Ownership
- Define and manage key product metrics (e.g., user engagement, adoption, conversion rates)
- Regularly review performance data with cross-functional teams to identify gaps, opportunities, and optimization strategies
- Establish accountability frameworks that drive results and foster a culture of continuous improvement
People & Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing product management team
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative environment that enables individual and team success
- Partner closely with fellow leaders to align on organization-wide initiatives and resource allocation
Innovation & Thought Leadership
- Leverage emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML) to create innovative product features and experiences
- Stay ahead of industry trends and champion new approaches that elevate PropertyGuru’s competitive edge
- Represent PropertyGuru’s product vision externally through conferences, industry events, and thought leadership
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Data, Marketing, Other Product Teams and Sales to deliver integrated product solutions
- Drive alignment on product priorities, timelines, and go-to-market strategies to ensure seamless execution
- Coordinate with stakeholders to balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives
Stakeholder Communication
- Develop compelling product narratives to secure executive buy-in and influence decisions at the highest levels
- Maintain transparency through regular updates on strategy, milestones, and performance
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to drive informed discussions and organizational alignment
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, preferably within consumer-focused businesses, marketplaces, or e-commerce.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and scaling product teams.
- Strategic Acumen: Proven track record of defining and executing product vision and strategies that drive measurable business results.
- User-Centered Design & Data Analytics: Deep understanding of user research methodologies, data analysis tools, and translating insights into product roadmaps.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with AI/ML trends and their practical applications in consumer products.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to influence, align, and drive collaboration across diverse functions.
- Adaptability & Prioritization: Adept at navigating ambiguity, setting priorities, and managing trade-offs in fast-paced environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
