Call Centre Agent

Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound collection calls in a call centre environment
- Follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely action is taken to achieve collection targets on behalf of clients from the Financial Institutions, Telcom Support Service Providers, Healthcare and Commercial portfolios
- To adopt collection best practices and apply relevant collections strategies to enhance effectiveness
- Arrange and negotiate payment with customers
- Perform administrative duties, enquiries and accounts monitoring
- Update and maintain the Credit Collection System
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Candidate should possess at least a Degree / Diploma in any relevant discipline
- Possess at least 1 years of working experience in a call centre (inbound and outbound calls), telemarketing, customer service or debt collection
- Able to speak proficiently in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented and results driven
- A team player and independent worker
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
