Roles & Responsibilities

Permanent Position starting with 3 year Direct Contract under a Statutory Board


Location: Islandwide

Salary: Basic up to $5,200 + AWS + VB

Working hours: 5-day work-week (1 weekday off, 1 weekend off), on rostered shifts (Morning/Afternoon)


Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify meaningful causes/ interests and volunteering opportunities of Community Volunteers (individuals/groups) across different sign-up platforms (e.g. referrals, etc) and facilitate their engagement through existing/new projects
  • Map and work with the team to grow and cultivate individuals, groups/ networks at Division level
  • Nurture Community Volunteers as advocates to fulfil organisation's objectives
  • Match volunteers and volunteer opportunities with internal and external stakeholders at Division level
  • Share best practices with internal and external partners at suitable platforms
  • Promote the Community Volunteers' Scheme to increase public awareness and to obtain buy-in from current grassroots leaders and stakeholders in the Division
  • Work with external partners to cross-share contents on each partner’s publicity platforms
  • Curate and maintain an archive of Community Volunteers' stories and materials that depict the work of managing Community Volunteers
  • Update calendar of local programmes which will support the overall Community Volunteers' marketing plan
  • Match and deploy Community Volunteers-related resources within the Office
  • Adhere to internal checks and controls, SOPs and templates for proper accounting, tracking and compliance
  • Submit regular reports on Community Volunteers management efforts and outcomes

  • Singaporeans only
  • Min. Diploma holder/Degree holder in any relevant field of study
  • Prior experience in Community Work.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Has a keen interest in current affairs, national policies and keeps updated about news in the community
