Customer Service Senior Executive (Japanese speaking)

Our client, a credit card payment brand, is looking for a Japanese-speaking Customer Service team member to join their customer service team. You will assist in collaborating with merchants to drive transactions (merchant research & Special Offers) and coordinating with Tokyo HQ to support these activities.

Job responsibilities:

  • Handling correspondence from HQ in Japan
  • Ensure seamless support for members by offering tourist and local information and handling reservations
  • Deal directly with customers/members either by telephone or electronically
  • Respond promptly to customer/members inquiries
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints (obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints)
  • Provide updated information (benefit or membership plans) to customers
  • Carry out the Sales promotion by offering good and attractive privileges or information to the existing clients
  • Contribute towards increasing the number of merchants (merchant research) in Singapore
  • Maintain and improve the relationships with current merchants and establish relationships with new merchants
  • Contribute to increase sales by providing customer service work

Job requirements:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry or customer-related job for a minimum of 1 year
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for superior customer service
  • Intimate knowledge of the customer's individual needs
  • Well-versed in handling all necessary tourist arrangements
  • Intermediate IT skills
  • Proficient in negotiating and communicating effectively in both Japanese and English with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
