Wild Rice is Hiring – TICKETING MANAGER

We are looking for a TICKETING MANAGER to join our team in support of the industry-leading work we do at our home in Funan.

What The Position Entails:

The Ticketing Manager will oversee ticketing operations for all Wild Rice shows, and will report directly to our Executive Director and Producer. Core responsibilities include managing ticket sales and providing customer service, as well as data management and analytics.

Responsibilities:

Manage ticketing services for all Wild Rice productions, including:

  • Liaising with the relevant ticketing agent/platform on all matters related to ticket sales. This will include setting up, managing and updating all event ticketing pages, including event forms, seating plans, master tracking, discount packages and more.
  • Managing and responding to all ticketing enquiries.
  • Processing and managing all ticket bookings, including internal orders (staff, media invitations, etc) and tickets set aside for our education, outreach and access programmes (such as school bookings, Gift of Theatre, rush tickets, captioned performances and touch tours, etc).
  • Handling all group and corporate bookings and event requests, including liaising with our Venue department on any logistical and operational requirements from our clients.
  • Tallying sales figures with SISTIC to close accounts after each production.

Monitoring, analysing and reporting sales data to enable our team to proactively manage and improve ticket sales. This includes liaising with our marketing team to create and manage offers and discounts as part of our marketing campaigns.

Managing box-office operations at our theatre, which includes:

  • Managing, training, scheduling and supervising part-time box office-staff.
  • Overseeing cash handling and reconciliation processes for all our productions.
  • Performing ticketing duties at our box office, as and when required.

Key Requirements:


• Minimum Diploma and above


• 2 to 3 years of experience in a related field


• Digitally savvy, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM applications


• Prior experience with ticketing software like STIX is beneficial but not mandatory, as training will be provided


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)


• Outgoing and adept in various social settings


• Comfortable working independently and able to evaluate situations with minimal guidance


• Meticulous and well-organised


• Ability to work effectively and multi-task under pressure


• Interest in the arts and cultural sector
