We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our vending machine company. Our company specializes in providing vending machine solutions for various company needs, including canned drinks machines, combo machines (snacks and drinks), and coffee machines that offer a wide range of beverage options. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, increasing company revenue, troubleshooting machine errors, and ensuring smooth operations of the vending sales routes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote our vending machine solutions and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying leads, focusing on companies in need of vending machine services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their specific vending machine requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our vending machine solutions, highlighting their technical capabilities and advantages.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to clients, ensuring smooth operation of the vending machines and promptly resolving any technical issues.
  • Take over vending sales routes when necessary, maintaining consistent sales and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the placement of vending machines in client locations, ensuring optimal positioning for maximum sales.
  • Work closely with clients to identify opportunities for machine relocation within their premises, ensuring efficient utilization of the machines and customer convenience.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, staying up to date with the latest developments in vending machine technology and identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.
  • Generate reports and provide regular updates to the management team regarding sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in technical sales, preferably within the vending machine industry or related sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of vending machine operations, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional departments to achieve common goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges and find innovative solutions.
  • Flexibility to travel to client locations, as well as cover vending sales routes when required.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools would be advantageous.
