ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prepare and produce high-quality Chinese cuisine daily, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.

· Develop and refine recipes to maintain authentic flavors while incorporating creative touches.

· Assist with daily administrative tasks, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records.

· Monitor and document temperature logs to ensure food safety standards are consistently met.

· Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, ensuring the kitchen meets the highest cleanliness standards.

· Perform scheduled cleaning duties, including sanitizing workstations, equipment, and storage areas.

· Secure kitchen stores to prevent loss, spoilage, or contamination of ingredients.

· Participate in training programs and project work to enhance culinary skills, kitchen management, and customer service standards.

· Report and, where possible, address incidents such as accidents, fire hazards, loss, theft, damaged goods, or unfit food. Ensure all incidents are documented and communicated to management promptly.

· Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support kitchen operations.


REQUIREMENTS

· Proven experience as a Chinese Chef, with expertise in preparing authentic Chinese dishes.

· Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen best practices.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

· Good organizational and administrative skills for managing kitchen paperwork and inventory.

· Team player with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.Strong mental capacity to learn, take demands and multi-task.
