Primary Purpose and Scope


This is an individual contributor-hunter role to identify and develop sales opportunities and generate sales for ISS Data. The role is responsible for conceiving and executing effective selling strategies to build new customer pipeline and foster relationships with existing customers, to win new orders. The role also presents opportunities to acquire, develop and enhance solution selling skills.


Key Results Areas & Accountabilities

  • Develop a solid working knowledge and promote ISS Data’s ByDesign and S/4 Hana Public Cloud offerings.
  • Drive sales to exceed key performance indicators determined by management.
  • Develop and win new business opportunities as well as grow revenue from existing customers.
  • Plan and execute activities to consistently generate new leads and improve customer engagement.
  • Initiate contact with prospects/customers, prepare proposals, develop and deliver high-quality presentations, conduct consultative meetings to understand customers’ needs, and construct and articulate strong value propositions to customers to win new orders.
  • Analyse customers’ business needs and facilitate scope of work discussions between consultants and customers.
  • Liaise with ISS Data’s management to ensure the solution and cost competitiveness of proposals submitted.
  • Ensure proper and adequate signoff of all requisite documentation including proposals, statement of work and contracts.
  • Ensure payment terms are adhered to by customers and follow-up with customers on payment.
  • Update sales forecast on a weekly basis and provide regular sales updates/reports.
  • Maintain regular and positive relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Maintain a detailed and accurate knowledge base of competitors’ activities.
  • Contribute to the negotiation of ByDesign and S/4 Hana Public Cloud implementation contracts.
  • Represent ISS Data professionally and credibly in customer engagements and industry forums.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of ISS Data’s business development activities and growth plans.

Requirements


Must have:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any field.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience selling enterprise solution to customers in Singapore, preferably in cloud ERP.
  • Self-starter with proven track record of managing and closing enterprise segment sales using consultative sales approach with solution selling and value selling techniques.
  • Skilled in both virtual and in-person presentations with the ability to deliver impactful SaaS product demonstrations.
  • Singapore citizen or SPR with strong command of spoken and written English. Proficiency in Mandarin and other languages/dialects an advantage.

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of discreet or process manufacturing, distribution, utilities, energy, healthcare and heavy industries.
  • A history of working in Professional Services/Consulting roles.
  • SAP Business ByDesign and/or S/4 Hana Public Cloud experience.
  • Understanding of IoT, Machine Learning, Business AI, Analytics and RPA.
  • Working experience with other SAP cloud or third-party solutions.
  • Useful if possess own transport but not essential.
