Roles & Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

The role is focused on ensuring the upkeep and preventive maintenance of guest rooms, with a keen eye for detail to deliver excellent service and ensure guest satisfaction. The position also involves responding to guest requests for amenities or linens as quickly as possible and keeping amenities and pantry supplies well-stocked.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete training to effectively use the necessary machinery and cleaning products for preventive maintenance tasks in guest rooms as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure the condition of guest rooms meets the hotel's high standards.
  • Transport linens and amenities from the housekeeping office to each floor's pantry.
  • Monitor and ensure that the linens in the pantry are always replenished and in good condition.
  • Regularly top-up amenity caddies to ensure they are fully stocked and ready for use.
  • Prioritize fulfilling guest requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Assist with general housekeeping tasks in the housekeeping office.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance, contributing to the hotel's positive image.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
