Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Business Development
  • Develop and implement the overall service strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the service portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ship owners, charterers, and port authorities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
2. Operational Management
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Supervise planning, scheduling, and execution of transfers in compliance with local and international maritime standards.
  • Ensure the availability and readiness of all equipments.
  • Conduct operational risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
3. Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure full compliance with local and international maritime regulations.
  • Develop and implement safety policies, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of operations and vessels.
  • Oversee incident investigations and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Financial & Budget Management
  • Develop and manage the department’s budget, cost control and revenue optimization.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and safety.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with service providers, vendors, and clients.
5. Stakeholder & Client Relations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory bodies, and port authorities.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and regulatory meetings.
Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong working knowledge within the marine time industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen.
