Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Sustainability Advocate, Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team and report primarily to the Commercial Manager. In this role, you will be the key liaison between our innovative sustainability solutions and our valued clients. Your expertise in sustainable practices will drive sales, build strong relationships, and promote environmentally responsible practices.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
· Build and maintain good relationships with clients.
· Oversee client satisfaction and handle account renewals.
· Support the execution of client-centric strategies to drive business growth.
· Generate monthly billing summaries, manage documents, and follow up on outstanding payments.
Sustainability Advocacy
- Identify and pursue Sustainability opportunities for business development, contribute in new product/service development and advancement of existing solutions.
- Provide technical sales support and proposal development to support client relationships, business development, and sales enablement of current and new GHG and ESG services.
- Assisting in business development and pitching assignments to engage potential clients.
- Oversee and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery within project schedule, budget and allocated resources.
- Design strategies and deliver programs to increase external stakeholder engagement, awareness and commitment to sustainability.
- Stay up-to-date of emerging trends and best practices in Sustainability.
- Implement and communicate environmental and sustainability programs effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Independently contribute to business development through proposal writing, pipeline management, pitches/presentations, client cultivation, and raising KLerra’s profile.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business/Sales/ Sustainability, or a related field.
- 3+ years of sales experience with a strong focus on sustainability or environmental solutions, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain robust client relationships.
- Deep understanding of sustainability principles and their application in business.
- Genuine passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship, with a strong desire to make a positive impact through your work.
