Key Account Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a Key Account Manager with a strong focus on account retention and growth (80% Farmer / 20% Hunter) to manage and expand relationships within the contract logistics sector. This role is responsible for ensuring high client satisfaction, optimizing service delivery, and identifying opportunities to expand business within key accounts to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, gaining a deep understanding of their supply chain requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Act as the primary contact for key clients, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring top-tier service delivery.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, and finance) to ensure seamless execution of contract logistics services.
- Monitor account performance, analyze service metrics, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance, challenges, and opportunities for further collaboration.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to provide strategic insights to clients.
- 5+ years of experience in key account management, client servicing, or sales within the logistics or supply chain industry, with a strong focus on contract logistics.
- Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills, with a consultative approach to managing clients.
- Proven ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and drive revenue expansion.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
