Roles & Responsibilities

Broad-based Compensation & Annual Remuneration Review Cycle

  • Participate in annual rewards surveys, analyse and utilize the survey data to identify gaps and risks, and propose recommendations to address them
  • Support in Annual Remuneration Review cycle which may include, but not limited to proposed KPI Target setting, performance reviews and compensation proposals

Benefits & Perquisites

  • Support in the Regional insurance pooling project, where applicable
  • Support in Harmonize benefits to be linked to approved job grades/employee categories
  • Support in the analyses of retirement/severance pay (Defined benefits vs Defined Contribution), where applicable
  • Support in the annual renewal of Group/international and in-country insurance policies

Remuneration Data Analysis

  • Prepare and review Total Remuneration related spreadsheets, computations while working with multiple data sources through coordination with various Countries' HR/Group Finance
  • Support in assessment of business needs and generate, maintain and distribute reports as needed to key stakeholders

Compensation Offer packages as part of employee lifecycle management

  • Prepare Offer Sheets (including for new hires, promotions, role change, etc) and potentially Employment Agreements for Senior Executives
  • Where appropriate, support in liaison with tax consultants and proposed suitable recommendations to address tax implications from personal and corporate tax perspectives

HR Business Partners/HR Operational Matters

  • Coordinate with outsourced HRMS (by BIPO) and other vendors to manage the employee lifecycle movement (e.g., onboarding, insurance/pension enrolment, employment passes, payroll, relocations, exits and terminations)

Management Incentive Program

  • Support in updating and preparation of the necessary supporting documents for the MIP allocation information for Remco/Board approval/endorsement
  • Support in liaison with lawyers, Trustee, etc, where applicable

Group People Cost Budgeting

  • Support in Group People Cost budgeting and Group HR budget
  • Liaise with Group Finance to track and validate the expensing of professional and consultancy fees in the correct classifications

HR Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Support in streamlining current processes and workflow by leveraging on HRIS. Coordinate with all Countries/BU in data migration and synthesis
  • Support in Descriptive HR Analytics

Board/Remuneration Committee (RemCo) Matters

  • Support in Executive Compensation benchmarking (salary, bonus and MIP review)
  • Support in any other rewards matter as mandated by the Board/RemCo

Other Projects/Policies, where applicable; Actively involved in the following:

  • Job Evaluation/Grading Project
  • Refinement of Group Travel and Entertainment Policy/Employee Handbook
  • Group-wide Promotion & Bonus Payout Eligibility Guidelines Policies
  • Group-wide Performance management process and timelines
  • Support in setting Target Bonus%, any incentive plans (i.e., policies, change management communication and implementation to get Board/stakeholder approval)
