Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team at Business Tax Accountancy Pte Ltd. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the overall growth of the business.


Responsibilities


Client Accounts Management

  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and accounts for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients regarding their financial and compliance needs.

Team Supervision

  • Provide guidance and support to junior/senior team members.
  • Review and approve work prepared by associates to ensure accuracy and quality.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure timely submission of GST returns, and other regulatory filings.
  • Collaborate with BTA's appointed tax agents for the submission of corporate tax filings.
  • Stay updated with changes in local laws and accounting standards.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes.
  • Contribute to the adoption and implementation of new accounting tools and technologies.

Client Engagement and Development

  • Assist in client relationship management to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying client needs and opportunities.

Requirements


Educational Qualification:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or tax services, preferably within a professional services environment.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and corporate tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
  • Analytical thinking with strong attention to detail.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
