Responsibilities

  • Lead People Services team to provide supportin a consistent, accurate and timely manner.  This includesareas such as work passes, licensing matters for designated jobgroups and HR contact channels to service employee queries andrequests.
  • Lead the office that implements,sustains, and continuously reviews programmes that enhance theservice and quality standards of GSS. 
  • Ensure the services are delivered in compliance with HRpolicies and Singapore legislation requirements.
  • Ensure that shared service level agreements (SLA) and keyperformance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met, reviewed andrevised when appropriate. 
  • Analyse,suggest, design and implement work processes and systemenhancements to continuously fine-tune the quality of workperformed.  This may be within the immediate scope or thewider scope and may involve the need to influence and convincemultiple stakeholders to adopt the designed solutions.
  • Manage the performance, competencies and morale of theteam, coach the team members so that they could continuous improveon service delivery and the handling of complex issuesindependently.
  • Actively participate instrategy development and drive change management whenorganisational changes are introduced.
  • Represent as the key point of liaison on matters relatingto service delivery and implementation.
  • Anyother duties deemed reasonable and necessary by thebusiness.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource or Business-relatedqualification.
  • At least 12 years of HRexperience of which 8 years are HR Operations experience and within-depth knowledge of Singapore work pass statutoryrequirements.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience inpeople-manager role and has directly managed onsiteresources. 
  • Prior experience in managingHR case management solutions and HR hotline will be an addedadvantage.
  • Able to lead a team to achieve worktargets and objectives.
  • Able to identify,drive and see through the implementation of work improvementprojects.
  • Able to think on your feet, work oncomplex issues and problem solve effectively.
  • Interested in exploring technological systemsolutions.
  • Able to manage high volumes, workunder tight timelines and respond positively to changingpriorities.
  • Able to work effectively with alllevels and collaborate with stakeholders across NUHS.
  • Organised, meticulous and proactive.
  • Open to changes in job portfolio within HR Group SharedServices due to re-organisation, resource allocationre-prioritisation and demonstrated strengths and growthpotential.
