Roles & Responsibilities

Based in Tuas and reporting to the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, you shall lead the HR team in the delivery of HR services for the Group and its local and overseas subsidiaries.

You shall be a key contributor to all matters related to people management. You shall play an active role in organisational transformation, including systems and policy implementation, employee engagement and HR partnering through effective formulation and execution of HR strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of the HR function, including talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits, training and development and policy administration.
  • Lead organisational development and change management.
  • Strategic manpower planning including participation in annual manpower budgeting exercise.
  • Ensure compliance to prevailing legislations and employment laws, including evaluating impacts from emerging HR trends and legislative updates and provide recommendations to manage them.
  • Foster effective cross-cultural communications and engagement with all levels of staff.
  • Actively participate in Company’s sustainability program.

Basic Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 10 years’ experience in a similar capacity managing a workforce of at least 200 personnel across different nationalities and regional locations.
  • Tertiary education with track record of continuing HR education.
  • Well verse in local and regional legislations, including but not limited to, labour relations, anti-discrimination, anti-harassment and data protection acts.
  • Good understanding of emerging HR issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Workday HCM would be a distinct advantage.
  • High integrity with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good leadership and planning skills, committed, meticulous and independent
