Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage teams and business of Singapore branch and achieve sales target set by BOD, reporting to CEO
  • Support the growth of the payment consulting practice in APAC closely working with Atlas Technologies Corp. in Japan
  • Drive meaningful business relationships between Atlas Technologies and its key clients in the region
  • Be an experienced strategy consultant able to help our clients grow their business, especially in the payments and digital areas
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of top-notch consulting engagements
  • Understand our clients' business objectives together with the Japan consulting teams
  • Identify opportunities to grow the overall business and digital banking capabilities of our clients
  • Develop and propose appropriate concepts and digital business solutions to clients
  • Lead the delivery of projects either on your own, or with the support of other internal or external resources, as appropriate (depending on project scope and complexity)
  • Manage project budgets and timeframes, and ensure high standard of delivery
  • Evaluate an organization's opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and oversees M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration. Coordinate research and analytics activities required to assess strategic impact and risk.

Candidate requirements:

  • High-level experience in management consulting, having already delivered projects in the financial services/ payments sector
  • Broad network across the financial industry in APAC
  • Excellent client relationship management skills (including senior executive level) in the financial services industry
  • Extensive knowledge in retail banking
  • Experience in conceptualizing new products and business models in digital and technology-driven environments
  • Excellent spoken and written command of English and/or Japanese
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to comprehend and convey complex business information
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills – highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • A proven ability to thrive in high pressure situations, in a fastpaced, matrixed environment
  • Willingness to travel and work on client premises, if needed
  • Expert knowledge of payment systems would be an advantage
  • Experience in global management consulting firms would be an advantage
  • Experience in using agile methods (i.e. Design Thinking, Lean-Start-up, Scrum) would be an advantage
  • 20+ years of extensive and diversified experience in the financial services/ payments sector with a track record of top performance.
  • 10+ years of organizational management with 100+ employees
