Position Summary:

Assistant Manager:

  • Support the Front of House Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
  • Lead and supervise the front-of-house team, providing guidance and support
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain high service standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with the back-of-house team to ensure coordination and efficiency between the kitchen and service areas.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings, and train staff to provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Oversee the reservation system and monitor seating arrangements to maximize guest satisfaction and table turnover.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of special events, private dining, and catering operations.
  • Assist in managing inventory and supplies, including glassware, linens, and service equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and restaurant policies.

Supervisor:

  • Supervise the service crew, ensuring they deliver exceptional guest experiences at all times.
  • Monitor service areas to ensure guests receive prompt and attentive service.
  • Support in staff training and development to ensure team members understand service standards.
  • Help manage reservations and seating to optimize table flow during peak hours.
  • Address any guest issues or concerns that arise during service
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring all areas are prepared for smooth service.
  • Skillfully manage POS systems, cashless devices, and delivery platform devices.
  • Accurately tally sales and cash at the close of each day.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and restaurant policies.

Service Crew:

  • Maintain impeccable service standards, ensuring that guests receive prompt, attentive, and personalized service.
  • Greet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and escort them to their tables.
  • Provide attentive, personalized service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest needs.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu and be able to offer recommendations and answer guest questions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring tables are properly set and cleaned.
  • Support team members and communicate effectively to maintain seamless service flow.
  • Handle guest feedback courteously and efficiently, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Assist with daily prep, such as stocking supplies and maintaining equipment.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in front-of-house management or a related hospitality leadership role for a minimum of 3 – 5 years, varying with position.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including service standards, reservations, and guest relations.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, wine service, and mixology.
  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
