About the role:

The Finance Manager will join our Regional TabSquare Finance team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record in managing finance functions. He/she would possess leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, and continuously work on building the best practice in the finance team amid extensive business growth.


This is a role for a 6 months contract with potential to convert to a full time role.


Scope of Responsibilities

  • Responsible for timely and accurate reporting, including monthly closing, preparation of management reporting packages, statutory reporting, departmental reporting, cost center reporting as well as supporting budgeting and forecasting
  • Drive innovation and strive for continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Build new processes and constantly challenge the daily accounting and operational processes, including customer invoicing, AR collections, fixed asset management and month end closing processes
  • Liaise closely with stakeholders across different departments in TabSquare and global teams in Delivery Hero as needed
  • Responsible for payment accounting and reporting for our fintech offerings
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, bankers and relevant external parties
  • Take on various other financial projects as required
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned to Finance related areas

Minimum requirement

  • Degree holder in Accountancy or related disciplines with professional accountancy qualification such as CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in audit, and financial accounting experience gained in a progressive MNC in regional capacity, with recent years in a managerial capacity
  • Experience in the e-commerce or Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) industry a plus
  • Demonstrable knowledge in statutory reporting requirements and IFRS standards
  • User of Quickbooks (or similar accounting systems), and/or SAP will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Suite with strong analytical abilities
  • Strong critical thinking, employs a proactive approach and can-do attitude to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
