Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of Cosco Shipping International (Singapore) Co., Ltd and has a wide range of clientele ranging from local SMEs to multinational companies. Cogent owns one of Singapore's largest one-stop integrated logistics hub, Cogent 1.Logistics Hub. It offers warehousing, freight forwarding, container and ISO tank depot, automotive logistics and transportation services in Singapore. It also operates warehousing and container depot businesses in Malaysia.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sales Executive in SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The Sales Executive will be responsible to promote project cargo storage & trucking and warehousing services to potential clients and develop relationships with existing clients to foster additional business opportunities.
1. Acquire new business accounts from the general pool of RFQ/tender and via personal network.
2. Answer new business inquiries and follow up on closure.
3. Attend to site surveys, conduct meetings and setting up after-sales onboarding operations.
4. Possess adept knowledge of project cargo operations, project cargo trucking operations and warehousing.
5. Generate reports for management review on a weekly and monthly basis.
6. Review warehouse processes for optimization and lead Management of Change.
7. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Minimum a Diploma in Business Management, Logistics or related field
- At least 1 year’s relevant sales experience in project cargo operations, project cargo trucking and warehousing in a third-party logistics industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand and analyze client needs
- Target oriented and strive to achieve goals
