About the Product Segmentation Manager Role:
This role plays a pivotal role in understanding and analyzing the global truck market landscape. You will be responsible for monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs across all focus regions. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping the overall strategy and product development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust segmentation models for all markets, leveraging sales data to identify and prioritize high-potential customer segments
  • Create strategic analyses to prioritize market segments for targeted growth initiatives
  • Collaborate with project and commercial teams to develop compelling sales argumentation materials based on market intelligence
  • Partner with sales training to ensure effective training programs focused on value-based selling
  • Work closely with product and service planning teams to identify opportunities for market expansion and potential new segments for product and service offerings
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to track developments in assigned regions, including truck market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand
  • Leverage industry expertise to prepare periodic PESTEL (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, Legal) updates, keeping management informed of critical external factors impacting the business
  • Design and execute market surveys to identify emerging trends and evolving customer preferences, informing strategic decision-making
  • Analyze market data to gain a deep understanding of the Heavy Duty (HD), Medium Duty (MD), and Light Duty (LD) truck segments across all focus regions

Cultivate a deep understanding of evolving customer needs and preferences across different regions. Use your insights to champion customer-centric solutions, ensuring their offerings resonate with the ever-changing marketplace.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial vehicle industry
  • Strong understanding of truck products, services, and customers
  • Excellent multi-tasking, time management, and stress management skills
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven with strong administrative skills
  • Knowledge of brand management and marketing communications
  • Initiative, drive for improvement, and a structured approach to work
  • Open-minded and a fast learner
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral English communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
