Job Description

The Position

Joining the global Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team, this role will focus on developing and implementing global guidelines, toolkits, procedures, and methodologies for the compensation function.

The C&B Senior Specialist will offer guidance to local HR in aligning with Organon's global C&B standards and programs and will handle local benchmarking, compensation trends analysis, job evaluation, and salary survey administration, ensuring effective communication of total reward policies and programs.

Operating within Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and the Philippines, the Specialist will report to the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Director for APJ, acting as the main contact for all C&B activities in these countries.

Location: APJ, Singapore or Malaysia (Role can be based in Singapore or Malaysia)

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Data to Inform Decisions
  • Provide global C&B support.
  • Lead regional/adhoc/local survey projects.
  • Analyze global and regional survey data.
  • Evaluate and enhance local benefit offerings with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities and new needs.

C&B specific activities

  • Analyze and present compensation insights using data and metrics.
  • Collaborate with local HR and vendors to support annual benefits renewals.
  • Review benefits vendor relationships to ensure optimal outcomes for Organon.

Support Global and Local Team to Initiate and Manage C&B Program Changes

  • Assist HRBPs in developing C&B business cases for different geographies.
  • Make recommendations for complex situations, such as highly regulated markets.
  • Support local execution of C&B programs, responding to market conditions and challenges.

Global Governance

  • Work with HR Community to ensure compliance with global policies.
  • Provide education and guidance on C&B policies to HR.
  • Act as a point of contact for Talent Acquisition and Local HR on new hire offer escalations.
  • Collaborate with HR/Vendors to create educational materials for new benefits offerings.
  • Support HRBPs in ensuring compliance with legislative changes and emerging work scenarios.

Required Experience and Skills:

Seeking 5 years of Total Rewards experience in a diverse and MNC environment, with regional experience being a bonus.

Data Analytics

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI is advantageous.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Aptitude for working in an evolving environment.
  • Strong English verbal and written skills.

Project Management

  • Ability to develop action plans and manage deliverables.
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
  • Highly flexible and agile in managing priorities.

Benchmarking

  • Understanding of market data options.
  • Ability to derive insights from benchmarking.

Compliance/Statutory Expertise

  • Familiarity with local legislation and compliance.

Vendor Management

  • Experience in supporting local HR with vendor management.
