As the Director, Brand Food & Beverage Development - Asia Pacific (APAC), you will be responsible for developing relevant and contemporary Food and Beverage (F&B) concepts across all brands for the APAC region which are aimed at driving recognition of Hilton brands, improving the brands' F&B reputation and creating value for owners within the assigned region. The Director will review and advise ownership regarding suitable brand partners with the goal of enhancing guest experience and creating value for owners. In addition the Director will also lead the development of the concept design stage for Luxury, Lifestyle and Marquee Full Service.

The Director will conduct market research to determine regional suitability of concepts, competitive set, target audience and economic factors.


What will I be doing?

As the Director, Brand F&B Development - APAC, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Lead and develop well-defined prototypical F&B concepts applicable to each brand for use as turnkey solutions by owners and operators.Develop well defined bespoke F&B concepts across all our brand categories, where required, for new and developing hotels.Provide concept support (when requested) for existing hotels with approved funds for Capex projects.Prepare and present detailed F&B concept briefs to ownership and their representatives.Ensure coordination among key stakeholders including Hotel Operations, Technical Services, Architecture & Design and Supply Management in support of F&B concepts and the design process.Ensure continued communication and regular meetings with regional Directors of F&B Operations and other internal stakeholders.Evaluate and identify business opportunities for new and additional concepts.Advise ownership regarding suitable third-party brand partners after consultation with F&B Operations.Serve as the primary regional contact for owners and managers pertaining to F&B brand and concept development.Determine working schedules and task completion dates based on project deadlines and tracks monthly progress.Ensure tracking of progress / compliance with F&B brand initiatives and programs underway, ongoing, and in development using project board.Participate in Brand F&B Development special projects as "team lead" and keep constituents updated on related activities.Direct subordinate team members in execution of their duties, establish work priorities and determine strategy for achieving management objectives.Effectively manage projects and relationships with third party partners including vendors, designers, consultants and concept partners.Identify primary restaurant operators and concept partners; review financial acumen and fit for business. Assist Senior Director to achieve strategic and department goals. Ensure appropriate talents are identified to meet staffing plan and develop current talent to achieve strategic goals and performance.Assist Senior Director and Senior Vice President, Brand F&B Development with ad hoc projects as needed.

Degree in interior design and significant hospitality / F&B management related experience.Minimum of 7 years restaurant design experience, of which at least 4 years should be in a senior F&B design management role.Knowledge of F&B operations, supervisory aspects, service techniques, current F&B trends and concepts.Ability to think creatively and pair design ability with F&B operations experience.Ability to convey mood and setting through selection and use of imagery.Excellent visual, written and oral communication skills, ability to interact with and persuade individuals at senior levels and actively participate in meetings and group discussions.Ability to deliver presentations in a concise and well-organized manner.Strong attention to detail.Excellent organization skills.Ability to work well under deadline pressure.Ability to adapt to extensive travel or schedule changes.Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.Ability to multi-task.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and adept at PowerPoint (Access preferred).

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Experience in or knowledge of hotel design.Global F&B operational management experience.
