Manager, Technology Support Services (TSS), IITS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position is for Integrated Information Technology Services (IITS).
  • Build and implementation of Windows, MAC, Mobile device software installation, configuration, and maintenance which includes software rollouts, upgrades, patches, and/or service packs.
  • Responsible for Microsoft Windows and Mac Endpoint management, Build, and Deployment using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and JAMF to all Endusers.
  • Monitor and assess business needs against Endpoint security concerns and working with the Security team to manage the overall security of the Endpoint.
  • Respond, investigate, and escalate alerted events and incidents from various security technologies.
  • Work with the IT Help Centre to coordinate Desktop Application updates and rollouts using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/JAMF for different business departments.
  • Deliver Endpoint technical solutions as per specified plans, deliverables, costs, and timelines.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that will increase productivity and drive consistency in how support provides to Endusers.
  • Work with external vendors and suppliers to investigate new technologies and develop costoptimized solutions.
  • Participate in the evaluation, testing, and recommendation of operating system patch management, and technical support of the production and development environments.
  • Identify trends in specific support areas and works with the stakeholders to address them.
  • Provide Executive Support for the Senior Executive team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or Engineering.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a fastpaced environment.
  • Those with Cybersecurity certifications are highly preferred.
  • A selfmotivated work ethic, with a cando attitude and is customerservice oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a crossfunctional environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload while ensuring the quality of service.
  • Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office environments, including administration, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching and fix.
  • Hardware knowledge of laptops, desktops, thin clients, and printers; iMac and MacBook.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Domain environment, DNS, networking, routing, VPN, firewall, and system security.
  • Good experiences with endpoint security solutions in the market.
  • Competency with any scripting language such as PowerShell, Python.
  • Have a keen interest to learn/work with cybersecurity technologies.
  • Experience in evaluation/test/deploy new solutions from proof of concept to production.
