The Technology Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users across various technology platforms. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring systems, and documenting support processes.

The Support Analyst must have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong customer-service orientation, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1st and sometimes 2nd line support to all company's sites hardware and software.
  • Escalate to support parties' issues and manage the outcome.
  • Receives and handles requests for service, following agreed procedures.
  • Acts as the routine contact point, receiving and handling requests for support.
  • Ensures that incidents are handled according to agreed procedures.
  • Prioritises and diagnoses incidents. Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution. Escalates unresolved incidents.
  • Facilitates recovery, following resolution of incidents. Documents and closes resolved incidents.
  • Contributes to testing and improving incident management procedures.
  • Perform hardware and software installations on new and existing desktop and laptop computers.
  • Assist with the administration of the Company Phone System
  • Reports on progress and resolves issues.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest computing trends, technologies, and best practices.
