The Global Application Tech Support role entails providing technical and operational assistance for Monitoring Applications. The tech support collaborates with various technology teams to ensure seamless integration of functions in order to achieve objectives. Responsibilities include identifying system enhancements, analyzing system logic, troubleshooting problems, and implementing solutions. The role requires a good grasp of apps support procedures, concepts, and other technical areas to enhance existing applications and operating environments.

The primary goal is to leverage knowledge of infrastructure technology and established policies to process data, address issues, and perform administrative tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all applications supported by ATM COE
  • Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions
  • Review and develop scripts for SQL & Oracle DB to diagnose problems
  • Perform impact analysis, resolve high impact problems, and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Design testing approaches, processes, reporting streams, and automate tasks
  • Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements, and update procedures
  • Provide technical guidance, act as an advisor to junior analysts, and manage operating system applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and enhance program design and performance
  • Develop projects for metrics, analytical tools, and best practices
  • Obtain operational approval for solutions and implement changes following Citi IT requirements
  • Participate in conference calls for application-related issues
  • Ensure timely resolution and adherence to SLAs
  • Plan and implement system enhancements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet delivery objectives
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Estimate time and cost requirements and establish development plans
  • Test system changes before implementation and coordinate rollout
  • Document troubleshooting updates and maintenance requests
  • Assist with training activities as necessary
  • Assess risks and prioritize business decisions with a focus on compliance and ethical standards


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL scripting and debugging
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle development and monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Monitoring Tools, Network Protocols, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in troubleshooting, capacity planning, and ticketing systems
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and balancing multiple demands
