Head of Cyber Technology Support

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cyber technology engineers and support specialists, ensuring high performance, professional development, and alignment with organizational goals.
2. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cyber technology infrastructure, such as network security solutions, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security solutions, data leakage prevention solution (DLP), security orchestration automation and response (SOAR) platform, and security information and event management (SIEM) platform.
3. Work with other team and implement protocols or playbooks for incident detection, analysis, and response. Support other teams to investigate security incidents, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Establish and maintain security monitoring systems for other team to detect and analyse suspicious activities or potential security threats.
5. Monitor cyber technology systems for vulnerabilities and develop strategies to address them proactively.
6. Manage day-to-day operations of cybersecurity systems, such as SOAR, SIEM, network security, web security, DLP and endpoint security.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex cyber technology issues and challenges. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address technical issues promptly and effectively.
8. Develop and enforce cyber technology policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices, standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS TRM, MAS 655, MAS 658 etc). Ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws and standards.
9. Ensure the team maintain documentation of cyber security systems and tools policies, procedures, and SOP.
10. Collaborate with senior management and Solutioning team to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for cyber technology support and enhancement. Identify emerging cyber threats and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
11. Evaluate and manage relationships with cybersecurity vendors, consultants, and service providers. Ensure that vendors comply with contractual agreements and security standards.
12. Collaborate with external partners and industry peers to stay updated on emerging threats, trends, and best practices in cybersecurity.
Qualifications
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Advanced degree or industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are preferred.
2. Proven experience (15 years) in cybersecurity engineering, architecture, and operations, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of cyber technology specialists and engineers. And team management skills, including the ability to manage projects, and drive initiatives to completion.
4. In-depth knowledge of cyber technology infrastructure, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, cloud security, application security, endpoint security, web security, and security monitoring tools.
5. Experience in developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
