ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR FINANCE & OPERATIONS for our Continental Headquarter in Singapore.

We are looking for an
"ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR FINANCE & OPERATIONS" who has excellent organizational & communication skills.

You will work closely with the DIRECTOR FINANCE & OPERATIONS Asia Pacific to support in strategic leadership and all activities within Finance and Operations and partner with various teams across the organization to achieve efficiencies in terms of operations and costs.


YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES, but not limited to:

  • Supporting in all Financial, Operational procedures.
  • Assist to prepare a monthly statement of the company's accounting situation.
  • Preparing the monthly Management Report to the Headquarters in Luxembourg.
  • Regular participation in financial reporting & planning procedures.
  • Assist the Finance Department with the coordination of all audit activity. Includes preparation of work papers and reconciliations as requested by external auditors.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and planning process; assist with the administration and review of all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.
  • Assist in all other operational matters.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Director or supervising manager.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a good background in finance and operations.
  • First experience in the relevant field of work.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and operational standards.
  • Experience in setting of budgets forecasts as well as reporting.
  • You have strong collaborative and team working skills, you are structured and result oriented.
  • You are analytical and have a pragmatic approach to tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills and at least one other international language.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
  • You enjoy working independently within a team and can work under stress.
  • Willingness to travel.
