The Role:

- a. Secretariat to Standing Committees and SIGs
b. Doctor's Profile
c. Coordinate monthly mortality and morbidity review
d. Monitor and track that all accredited doctors have a valid Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate.
e. Process request for Surgical Assistants, Hands'-off observer, Clinic staff registration, medical officer assistant
f. In-charge of information dissemination (e.g. Doctor's Leave of Absence, Management Updates)
g. Specialist On-call Rosters.
h. Perform all duties in the strictest confidence.

Key accountabilities:

  • 1. Ensure that meetings are scheduled according to the frequency indicated in the respective committees' terms of reference.
  • Ensure that minutes are documented accurately and the approved minutes circulated within 7 working days.
  • Ensure that venue and catering are executed accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure that event/meeting notification/reminders are sent out to attendees.
  • Ensure that all of the hospital's mortality cases are reviewed by the individual principal doctors within 3 months from date of death as per MOH guidelines.
  • Ensure that doctors with expiring BCLS certificates are recertified within 3 months from expiry date.
  • Administer the BCLS theory exam to doctors who are exempted from the practical component, as and when required.
  • Liaise with on the execution of training sessions and issuance of BCLS certificates upon successful completion of theory and/or practical tests.
  • Ensure that the announcement of Doctor's Leave of Absence (including information of covering doctor) is disseminated accurately and promptly to all relevant clinical and business service areas within the hospital.
  • Assist with obtaining doctor's leave forecast for theproceeding month/quarter.
  • Assist with roster planning (in accordance to hospital policies), as and when required.
  • Maintain doctor's information and management communications in the strictest confidence.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in any field

Additional Information:
