Salesforce Engineer (Consultant)

Corporate Systems Technology is responsible for implementing Salesforce for Millennium, including supporting Business Development and Business Management functions. These functions focus on the recruitment and support of our Portfolio Managers.

We are looking to grow the capabilities of Salesforce, using Apex, Lightning, AppExchange tools, and integrations with other internal systems.

This role requires an individual who is technically proficient while at the same time possesses a credible level of functional depth in Salesforce.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Hands on development supporting the Business Development team for their Trader Lifecycle and Recruiter Experience functions.
  • Develop and operate a recruiting platform for portfolio managers.
  • Participate in the design of various functions for Salesforce CRM solution.
  • Develop interfaces between CRM software and other systems internal and external to Millennium.
Qualifications/Skills Required

  • 6+ years of experience in Salesforce platform development and configuration.
  • Inspect, compare, install, and configure AppExchange solutions.
  • Collaboration with AppExchange implementation partners to understand how to best customize solutions.
  • Apex trigger design, development, debugging, and testing.
  • Asynchronous Apex code design, development, debugging, and testing.
  • 2+ years of WebUI/JavaScript/HTML/CSS with proficiency in at least one web framework such as Angular, React/Redux, or Ember.
  • Aura UI development, though LWC experience preferred.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful services to and from Salesforce, including knowledge of security considerations.
  • Understanding of at least one Salesforce CI/CD platform, like Copado, Gearset, or AutoRabit.
  • Experience leveraging Custom Settings and/or Custom Metadata to build configurable Apex solutions.
  • Lightning UI configuration experience, along with an understanding of best practices.
  • Design, customize, and manage security entitlements for Salesforce sales cloud.
  • Strong and effective interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop positive relationships with business partners.
  • Highly analytical with good problem solving skills; able to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
Skills Desired

  • Platform Events and/or Salesforce Pub/Sub configuration for inbound and outbound connections.
  • Experience working with front office business data and processes.
  • Experience Cloud configuration and development.
  • Dynamic Forms configuration experience.
