Technical Consultant, Telecommunication

Product and Project Management

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Primarily focus on the UICC profile validation and homologation with MNOs
  • Collect & evaluate customer requirements and prepare internal requirements for R&D and other relevant departments
  • Manage entire project life cycle from customer testing to trial production completion prior to mass production
  • Manage customer complaints, communicate directly with customers and various internal departments to prepare findings report. Work closely with sales and other internal department to provide solutions to resolve the issues
  • Work closely with sales to provide technical support such as tender documentation preparation, onsite/online product/solution presentation, etc
  • Cooperate with the product manager to recommend suitable project solutions/products and provide market information to support internal product planning
  • Cooperate with sales to maintain customer relationship and take initiative to visit customers regularly to follow up on current projects and understand new requirements

Experiences & Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
  • Hands on experience in sim card in telecommunication industry
  • 13 years project experience
  • Excellent understanding of UICC/eUICC ETSI/3GPP/GSMA standards covering 3G/LTE/4G/5G networks is mandatory
  • Understanding of EMV standard and Visa/Mastercard/UPI payment card project experience is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skill
  • Very good knowledge of and ability to use MS Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working in a global team supporting internal and external clients from different time zones
  • Experience in a multicultural environment is appreciated
