Regional Operations Manager
Work Dynamics - Integrated Facilities Management

What this role involves
  • Delivery of Client Satisfaction

The Operations Manager collaborates with the Account Director to ensure a high level of client satisfaction, manage the service delivery team, drive key operational initiatives, and maintain consistency in processes, systems, and reporting.

The role also focuses on implementing and practicing JLL's IFM standards across all sites within the account portfolio.

Reporting to this position are the Facilities Managers.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Leadership support (where applicable)
  • Assist the Client & AD in setting the vision and strategy for the account.
  • Understand the client's key business drivers and align team priorities accordingly.
  • Ensure high performance within the account team.
  • Collaborate with support functions (HR, SCMP, EOS, Finance) for seamless delivery at all sites.
  • Handle all country/account issues and escalations.
  • Advocate for innovation, challenge traditional thinking, and drive process simplification.
  • Enhance the Profile of Client's Innovation Objectives and Platform, driving opportunities and strategies for efficient deliverables.
  • Support new Directives and promote standardization.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across Client organizations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Client's business and its impact on service requirements.
  • Implement technology systems for service support and reporting.
  • Establish standard operating procedures and processes for new accounts.
  • Implement local initiatives and programs for the IFM team.
  • Drive client-specific initiatives such as savings targets and benchmarking.
  • Implement best practices within the account.
  • Ensure regional consistency in reporting, procedures, systems, and HR practices.
  • Standardize monthly reporting across the JLL portfolio.
  • Prepare regional reports to meet Client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 6 to 7 years' experience in Facilities Account Management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering are mandatory.
  • Experience in Managing Facilities Management for Manufacturing Sites.
  • Previous experience handling complex multiple account structures and P&L responsibilities.
  • EHS credential is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of managing large teams and vendors.

Achieve Financial Results
  • Responsible for meeting financial targets including revenue, expenses, and debtor's targets.
  • Achieve growth targets for all accounts.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with finance teams for fee collection and outstanding payment tracking.

Contract Management
  • Ensure contract adherence.
  • Drive achievement of KPIs and service levels as per contract.
  • Manage change control processes.
  • Ensure governance across all locations.

You'll also be involved in planning, implementing, and evaluating site-specific processes and protocols. Strong teamwork skills are essential, as you'll collaborate with a team to meet performance targets set in contracts. Develop tools to measure the technical team's performance quarterly or annually.
