What the role is:

Part of the International Group in IMDA, the Asia Tech x Programme Office (ATxPO) manages and organises the annual Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG) event that brings together change-makers and thought leaders from government and industry to share how tech can make a difference.

You will be part of a dynamic team, that conceptualises, develops and executes the ATxSummit, ATxAI and ATxInspire series.

You will also work with IMDA's partner Informa Tech to drive the overall ATxSG agenda to be a platform including for B2B opportunities via the ATxEnterprise brand.

  • Research companies, knowledge institutions and academia to understand current approaches to next frontier technology

What you will be working on

  • A broad variety of research on:
  • Headliner names that would be suitable for ATxSummit;
  • Leadingedge companies that could be presented at ATxSummit including identifying soonicorns;
  • General support for the conference lead to influence overall conference programme including topics and prospective speakers.
  • Following up closely and quickly on meetings/calls with respect to conference content development and managing the subsequent agreed action points.
  • Presentation materials to provide updates on conference content development and developing hooks to entice interest of speakers and/or targeted companies.
  • Maintaining and regularly update iterations of ATxSummit conference programme.
  • Supporting the management of a broad range of partnerships including knowledge, event and network
  • Supporting the management of confirmed speakers including:
  • Communication with selected speakers;
  • Speaker information management (including bios, profiles and images) for media usage; and
  • Speaker physical and media logistics:
  • Hospitality arrangements (including travel and accommodation);
  • Social media postings; and
  • Content for purposes of marketing and press
  • Maintaining and update details of speakers (both past, potential and current) on CRM database tool.
  • Coordinating with other teams, in particular, marketing and operations with regard to speaker management especially where social media/press related matters and hospitality are concerned, respectively.
  • Any other tasks that may arise from time to time.

What we are looking for

  • 810 years' experience in conference programming or research functions.
  • A search engine user expert who has investigative and creative capabilities to create linkages so as to reach out to targeted speakers.
  • Matured, professional, proactive in reaching out to potential partners including industry, associations and across government agencies (including various Ministries).
  • Competent writing skills with clarity of thought and focus on outcomes.
  • Strong storytelling skills with strong proofreading capabilities.
